Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is one of the members of the Lakers who declined a player option for next season. He expects to have some offers, although the Lakers have a chance to match any contract he receives. Caldwell-Pope is an unrestricted free agent but the Lakers have his full Bird rights.

The Suns made a huge splash by trading for Paul to pair with Devin Booker. Now, they can focus on adding solid role players to their lineup. Last season, Caldwell-Pope averaged 9.3 points per game while shooting 38.5% from three-point range. His value is likely to be high and there will be some teams after him on the free agent market. There is a chance that the Lakers look to bring him back, but the addition of Paul in Phoenix makes them an attractive landing spot for Caldwell-Pope.

After a rough start, Caldwell-Pope turned it on a bit in the NBA playoffs. He won his championship ring in Los Angeles and now could be looking to make some money on the open market.
