Los Angeles Clippers
The Los Angeles Clippers, despite their super team hopes, have some needs at a few places in their lineup. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George could use an upgrade at point guard on the roster. Also, the Clippers might be forced to pursue centers this offseason.
Montrezl Harrell is likely leaving Los Angeles for a team that will pay him more in free agency. Ivica Zubac has shown some promise but his role is not built to be a starter on a championship level team, especially if the goal is to compete with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
If the Clippers have enough money, they can target Whiteside. Harrell was a much better offensive weapon but he struggled on the defensive end. Whiteside will bring a toughness down low while competing on the offensive end.
The Clippers need to improve to make a run to the conference finals. They had a disappointing end to the season and that is something that cannot happen again this season.
