The Utah Jazz has a strong duo on paper in Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert. The relationship between the two is allegedly shaky which could lead to a split this offseason.

Gobert has one year left on his contract. At 28-years old, Gobert is still one of the premiere big men in the game. He is one of the top defenders in the league and his offensive game has improved.

There will be plenty of teams willing to give a return for Gobert. Whiteside is a bit more limited offensively than Gobert but his work on the defensive end and rebounding will fit in well to what the team is used to.

Whiteside is a player who contenders might be going after to shore up the frontcourt. Utah is one of those teams that can be taken to the next level in the postseason if they make a few moves.
