Christian Wood

Christian Wood will certainly gain more attention during this NBA free agency period than during others when he was available. This is a combination of the fact that this is a down year for free agents and that Wood is an improved player on both ends of the floor.

At 25-years old, Wood has played for five teams already. There is a chance that the fifth team is the charm for Wood. This season, Wood averaged 13.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game in Detroit. He played an average of 21.4 minutes per night and shot 38% from three-point range. Wood has started alongside Blake Griffin downlow. With the Pistons in full rebuild mode, Wood is one of the players that should be centered and stick around long term.

There will be suitors after Wood but he has found a home in Detroit and should opt to sign an extension there.
