LeBron James and Anthony Davis are one of the most lethal duos that the league has seen in recent history. They have a solid supporting cast around them, but the Lakers want to add more talent. That is where Anthony could come into play.
Once again, he is no longer the player that would form a “big three” for the Lakers. However, he is good enough to make a big-time impact for a championship contender. Anthony will also want to compete for a title.
Depending on the price, the Lakers should be very interested in this move. Anthony could earn a starting role or be a key bench player. Either way, he would have a positive impact and his game would fit the needs that L.A. has.
