Phoenix Suns Receive: Chris Paul, Abdel Nader

Oklahoma City Thunder Receive: Ricky Rubio, Kelly Oubre, Ty Jerome, Jalen Lecque, and 2022 1st Round Pick (via PHX)

In this trade package, the Phoenix Suns take on the $38.56 million salary Chris Paul is set to earn during the upcoming NBA season. The $1.75 million salary for Abdel Nader comes as a team-option and they will have the choice of declining that.

The Thunder will take on $31.38 million combined salary for Ricky Rubio ($17 million) and Kelly Oubre Jr. ($14.38 million). Factoring in Ty Jerome and Jalen Lecque, Oklahoma City will take on a total of roughly $35.19 million in salary— meaning they cleared about $3.37 million.
