Chris Paul’s Projected Landing Spot: Phoenix Suns
Chris Paul is a Western Conference player. He can remain in the conference and play with one of the best scorers in the NBA here. It is time that the Phoenix Suns get Devin Booker a co-star.
A back-court of Paul and Booker would be one of the best in the league. Phoenix has not had veteran leadership in a long time and it is something they need. They have built up their core with Booker, Deandre Ayton, and Mikal Bridges.

Paul is the type of leader that can bring it all together. He is a true floor general and can act as a head coach on the floor. As for the actual head coach, Monty Williams and Paul have a history in New Orleans. Paul has spoken highly of Williams and his basketball mind.

This would be one of the best moves to see this offseason regardless of what else happens. The duo of Paul and Booker will excite not only Suns fans, but NBA fans in general. An ascending star with a reigning All-NBA Second Team member with a recent No. 1 pick figuring it out is fascinating.
Russell Westbrook would be another name that could be intriguing for the Suns if the Chris Paul trade falls through. However, there is nothing requiring the Suns to make a major trade for a point guard out of panic considering Ricky Rubio is already under contract.
