The best trade for Bucks to offer Rockets for Russell Westbrook

The Milwaukee Bucks are heading into what could be a very interesting offseason. With Giannis Antetokounmpo potentially leaving next offseason in free agency, they will be looking for a second star to add alongside him. One player they could target is Houston Rockets star guard Russell Westbrook.

Chris Paul is one name that has come up, but he is getting older and would not make the kind of impact that Westbrook could. If the Bucks truly want to add a superstar to the mix, Westbrook would fit in nicely alongside Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton.

During the 2019-20 NBA season with the Rockets, Westbrook ended up averaging huge numbers. He scored 27.2 points per game to go along with 7.9 rebounds and 7.0 assists. Westbrook shot 47.2 percent from the floor and knocked down just 25.8 percent of his three-point attempts.

Obviously, the shooting numbers from the perimeter were not ideal. However, he was good in almost every other aspect of the game.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at the best trade the Bucks could offer the Rockets for Russell Westbrook if they chose to pursue him this offseason.
