2. Rudy Gobert
Rudy Gobert might have turned in his best season yet in 2019-20 with averages of 15.1 points, 13.5 rebounds, and two blocks per game. We know that Gobert is one of the best defensive players in the NBA but his offense has improved greatly to go along with it.
The issues between Gobert and Donovan Mitchell might not be able to be fixed. Both players are free agents next season and if the Jazz had to choose, they will keep Mitchell long term.
It is natural to think about the idea of trading Gobert before he leaves in free agency. If the Chicago Bulls pull the trigger on a Lauri Markannen trade, Gobert could be the replacement and potentially sign a deal next year.
The growing belief is that Gobert is on the market but he might not be the most attractive name out there. That does not change the fact that he is one of the best bigs in the NBA.
