In this trade package, the New Orleans Pelicans would land a return that is headlined by Kendrick Nunn by also features some veterans in Kelly Olynyk and Andre Iguodala. It’s a nice haul for including Jrue Holiday in a trade package.
Nunn is set to earn just under $1.7 million next season. To make the salaries work, the Miami Heat also sends veterans Iguodala and Olynyk to the Pelicans— combining for $27.2 million in salary. The deal would result in an addition of $3.4 million in salary for the Pelicans.
The Pelicans would also hypothetically acquires the No. 20 overall selection in the 2020 NBA Draft. That would result in just below $2.7 million in additional salary for New Orleans.
