New Orleans Pelicans Listening To Jrue Holiday Trade Offers?
It is out in the open that the New Orleans Pelicans are listening to offers for Holiday. There will be a double-digit number of teams interested in the All-Star caliber point guard, many being contending NBA teams.
If there is one team where Holiday will fit the best, it is the Brooklyn Nets. Kyrie Irving said last season that he and Kevin Durant will need a couple more pieces if they want to be a championship-level team. Holiday could be one of those pieces.
The Nets could build a trade around Caris LeVert. This would play into what the Pelicans are trying to do in terms of getting younger. The only issue is his injury history. The Pelicans would have to feel comfortable with that considering they already have an issue with Zion Williamson’s health.
Other teams that will be after Holiday include the Golden State Warriors, Indiana Pacers, and Denver Nuggets. One thing that we likely know is that Holiday will be traded. Now, we just have to wait and see where.
