New York Knicks Receive: 2020 1st Round Pick (No. 2 Pick)

Golden State Warriors Receive: 2020 1st Round (No. 8 Pick), Mitchell Robinson

This hypothetical sees the Knicks jump up six spots, from No. 8 to No. 2. To do so, they part with that eighth selection, and talented young big man Mitchell Robinson.

Robinson is one of New York’s covered young stars in the making, along with RJ Barrett. The Knicks would have to mull whether it was worth parting with Robinson, but from the Warriors’ perspective it’s a fair ask.

Golden State wouldn’t land the same caliber of player at No. 8 as No. 2, and that calls for extra compensation in the way of Robinson.
