Dallas Mavericks Star Trade Target No. 4 — Jrue Holiday
If the Dallas Mavericks are looking to improve defensively and add another playmaker on the perimeter with Doncic, Holiday is the perfect fit. He is an elite on-ball defender and someone who has a respectable three-ball, too.
This season, Holiday averaged 19.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game while shooting 35.3% from the three-point line. Holiday is not on the decline so it will be interesting to see if the New Orleans Pelicans are willing to part ways with him.
They have plenty of younger options and will have to pay Brandon Ingram. Holiday has an exceptional value at the moment so the Pelicans may opt to trade him.
Holiday is a veteran option that would immediately improve the Mavericks. They would add a point guard to run the show for Luka Doncic and KristapsPorzingis.
