This Heat-Wizards trade would pair John Wall with Jimmy Butler

Just a couple short years ago, Washington Wizards point guard John Wall was one of the most feared stars in the NBA. Due to injuries, he has become somewhat of an afterthought. However, the Miami Heat should still pursue an offseason trade for Wall that would pair him with Jimmy Butler.

Wall didn’t play a single game during the 2019-20 NBA season, although he has stated that he is back to full health. Back in the 2018-19 season, Wall played in 32 games and averaged 20.7 points per game to go along with 8.7 assists.

At 30 years old, Wall still has three more years left on his contract. He does have a potential opt-out in his contract for the 2022-23 season.

After making a run to the NBA Finals, the Heat are going to be aggressive this offseason. Pat Riley knows that this team can compete for a championship. Led by Butler, the Heat could be a massive threat with the addition of another star.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at an intriguing offseason trade that would send John Wall from the Wizards to the Heat to play with Jimmy Butler.
