This Cavaliers-Celtics trade would send Jaylen Brown to Cleveland

The Cleveland Cavaliers have multiple young guards the team can build around, but none of their former top picks on the roster have developed into stars that can take Cleveland to the next level. In order for Cleveland to eventually elevate into a contender in the Eastern Conference, the Cavs need to acquire a proven star. Could Cleveland possibly put together an offer for Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics?

Jayson Tatum is probably the most untouchable player on Boston’s roster. Brown may not be far behind, but he likely isn’t on Tatum’s level in this regard.

As for the Cavaliers, they could be looking to make some moves this offseason. Andre Drummond and Kevin Love have both been mentioned as potential trade pieces.
