Los Angeles Lakers Receive: Russell Westbrook

Houston Rockets Receive: Kyle Kuzma, Danny Green, Alex Caruso, 2020 First-Round Pick

Russell Westbrook is not a three-point threat, but he would add another scoring option with James and Davis. He would take pressure off of James and give the Lakers another option going towards the basket.

This trade package only includes one first-round pick, but the Lakers would have to part ways with Kyle Kuzma. He is a player who the Lakers have done their best to keep over the past few years. He could be the centerpiece for the Rockets in this deal.

Kuzma is 25 years old and fits into the Rockets’ game plan of fast play and a ton of scoring. Also, Green would be in this deal, but it seems likely that he gets dealt if this deal ever gained traction.

The difference between this and option No. 3 is that the Lakers would have to decide if they wanted to keep Kuzma or another first-round pick. Honestly, it seems like the flip of a coin.
