The Nuggets are coming off of an inspiring run in the playoffs, although they ultimately fell short of their goal.

Holiday has the type of competitiveness that Denver showed time and time again in the bubble playoffs, and he’d be an ideal fit alongside Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr.

Speaking of Porter Jr., he should be a piece the Pelicans covet in return. But after he showed signs of continued development in the NBA bubble, it would be wise of Denver to hold on to him.

If New Orleans makes Holiday available, the Nuggets should revisit their past interest in the 30-year-old guard. Denver won’t be able to make many additions this offseason, but a move for Holiday would certainly make an impact.
