Indiana Pacers

Much of the narrative around the Pacers this offseason has either been centered on their next coach or the possible departures of Myles Turner or Victor Oladipo.

But the Pacers could make an excellent move by acquiring Holiday to be a leader in the locker room, and a leader in the backcourt if Oladipo is traded.

The Pacers, like Holiday’s Pelicans, came up short of expectations last season, which led to the dismissal of Nate McMillan. But in Indiana, Holiday would join a playoff team that should be revitalized by its eventual new head coach.

Indiana doesn’t have quite the same expectations that New Orleans has (thanks to the presence of Zion Williamson) but Holiday would still join a team that expects to make the playoffs.
