What A Paul-Anthony Duo Could Accomplish

A veteran duo of Paul and Anthony would have the benefit of playing with young stars RJ Barrett and Mitchell Robinson in New York.

What could they accomplish?

Carmelo Anthony, alongside Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum in Portland, made the playoffs in the bubble. As did Paul and a Thunder squad which widely defied expectations.

The Knicks won 21 games last season, 12 fewer than the 8th seed Orlando Magic in the East.

Could the addition of Chris Paul and Anthony, along with a new coach in Thibodeau, elevate the Knicks to the playoffs?

Paul and Anthony — at this stage of their respective careers — are obviously not the type of superstar acquisitions that a Giannis Antetokounmpo or Victor Oladipo would be.

But the veteran pair could be enough to help the Knicks return to the postseason next year.
