For the New York Knicks, rumors are swirling about their involvement with a pair of veteran stars, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony. It may be a decade after fans expected, but the Knicks could reportedly be a landing spot for the veteran duo.
Paul and Anthony are known to be great friends, and they’ve famously spoke of playing together in the past. They had a brief chance in Houston, but Anthony has since raised his reputation after a solid performance during his stint in Portland.
Could the Knicks serve as the conduit to bring these longtime friends onto the same roster again?
The Knicks are believed to be a landing spot for Paul via trade from the Thunder, and if the Knicks acquire Paul, the New York Post reports Anthony would like to follow.
As the Post points out, both Paul and Anthony have been represented by Leon Rose in the past. Rose, formerly of CAA, is now the Knicks’ president.
