Golden State Warriors Receive: Kristaps Porzingis, Seth Curry

By the Golden State Warriors taking on the contracts of Kristaps Porzingis ($29.5 million) and Seth Curry ($7.8 million), they would be taking on a total of $37.3 million in salary— resulting in a net decrease of roughly $15.5 million in salary-cap space.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks would take on just $29.5 million in salary as that’s what Andrew Wiggins is set to earn next season. The Mavs would shed $7.7 million in salary cap spending.

It’s important to remember, the Mavericks would need to pay the No. 2 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft roughly $7.7 million next season, in this given scenario. Overall, Dallas would face almost a completely net neutral consequence in the salary cap department.
