This Mavs-Warriors trade would swap the No. 2 pick, Kristaps Porzingis

The Dallas Mavericks pulled off an impressive season with Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis forming a dynamic duo. Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors had a rough year and as a result, hold the No. 2 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

With Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson returning to the lineup, the Warriors will look to return to prominence in the Western Conference. It will take adding some talent to the roster in the supporting cast to get it done.

The No. 2 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft will be a great asset for the Warriors to use in order to reinforce their supporting cast. While this year’s draft class features a weak talent level, Golden State would still be able to land an effective talent if they were to trade it.

The Mavericks displayed impressive potential as a team but they will be in no hurry to make major changes. With Giannis Antetokounmpo set to become a free agent next offseason, Dallas will be looking to keep their cap space open.

With that being said, let’s take a look at a trade that would send Dallas Mavericks star Kristaps Porzingis to the Golden State Warriors.
