New York Knicks

The New York Knicks have not held the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft since 1985, when New York selected Patrick Ewing.

The Knicks did not win the lottery, but New York has a number of assets it could offer Minnesota in a trade.

For the Timberwolves, the deal would start with the No. 8 pick. The biggest question for Minnesota of course would be: Are you willing to drop from No. 1 to No. 8?

The Wolves would still have a top-10 pick, and the Knicks would have to offer some of their young backcourt depth, as well.

The Knicks make this list because they have several pieces they could offer, in addition to the 8th overall selection.
