Thunder Acquire Former Warriors Guard In Swap

The Trade:

Lakers acquire Chris Paul

Thunder acquire Danny Green, JR Smith, and Quinn Cook

The salaries of Green and Smith have to be included as of now. In this offer, in place of Horton-Tucker, the Thunder acquire former Golden State Warriors guard Quinn Cook.

Cook is known to be close to superstars in James and Kevin Durant, so he may be tough for the Lakers to part with.

But of course James and Paul are notoriously close as well, and this would likely be their last chance to share the same roster.

Cook would give the Thunder a versatile guard who can score in midrange and beyond the arc.
