Jrue Holiday, New Orleans Pelicans
Holiday may not have the same name-recognition as Giannis or Westbrook, but make no mistake, he would be a valuable addition in South Beach. Holiday is widely respected in the NBA, and his numbers tell the story of a consistent player over his 11-year career.
In Holiday, the Heat would be getting a player who can be penciled into the lineup, good for 19 points per game, six to seven assists per game, while shooting 45 percent from the field. Holiday has also had an effective field goal percentage (eFG) of 50 percent or better in each of the last four seasons.
Holiday will earn $25.3 million next season, and he holds a player option for the 2021-22 season. He may not be a long-term addition in the big picture, but he’d be a productive sidekick for Butler and company.
