The best trade the Miami Heat could offer for Victor Oladipo

The Miami Heat are one win away from the NBA Finals, but it is never too early to begin looking ahead at the offseason. Pat Riley may not make any major moves, but rumors have been connecting the Heat to Indiana Pacers star shooting guard Victor Oladipo.

Making a blockbuster trade for Oladipo this offseason may not be in the cards. However, there is a good chance that the Pacers will be open to listening to offers. If that is the case, the Heat should absolutely throw their hat in the ring.

Oladipo came back from a gruesome ruptured quad injury this season and showed some flashes of his former self. He averaged 14.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game in the 19 regular season games he played. In the four playoff games the Pacers played against the Heat, Oladipo averaged 17.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists.

While the numbers may not look it, Oladipo is still an All-Star caliber player. If the Heat were to pull the trigger on a deal, they would be getting a much better version of Oladipo next season.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at the best trade the Heat could offer the Pacers for Victor Oladipo.
