Another very intriguing potential option for the Pacers would be Becky Hammon. She would become the first female head coach in NBA history. In addition to that fact, she is more than qualified to become a head coach.

Granted, there are some that would be concerned about Hammon gaining control and the ears of an NBA locker room. However, she has done an excellent job with the Spurs and has gained a ton of respect from Gregg Popovich.

If the Pacers are looking for a young coach who would bring a very unique coaching style, Hammon would be a logical choice. She has a very good offensive mind, which is what the Pacers are looking to find.

Hammon may not end up getting the job, but she certainly would be an intriguing fit and a name that should be on the watch list.
