With the 2020 NBA regular season almost over, the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers are now locked in on their first-round playoff series. That’s right, the NBA Playoffs are going to be entertaining with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George going up against Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis.

All season long, the Clippers have been though of as the biggest threat to the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference. However, they are going up against a major test themselves in the first round.

Both the Mavericks and Clippers are talented enough to make deep runs in the playoffs. They are also both talented enough to compete with the Lakers. This series is going to be entertaining.

Rick Carlisle and company have to feel confident about their chances to compete with the Clippers. Coming in as the No. 7 seed means nothing, especially with home-court advantage being non-existent. This is a matchup between two teams who will play on an unbiased court for a seven-gam series.
