2. The Pacers Need A Starting/Scoring Two If Oladipo Doesn’t Play

Next up, the Pacers have to be planning for the possibility that Victor Oladipo will not play. Even if he does decide to play, he may not be ready for a full workload. That is where Jamal Crawford could come into play.

If Oladipo doesn’t come back for the rest of the season, Crawford would be able to come in and compete for the starting shooting guard spot. On the other hand, if Oladipo does play, Crawford could come in off the bench and play meaningful minutes.

Indiana does not have the luxury of having a solid replacement for Oladipo on their roster. Crawford would give them just that.

The Pacers should sign Crawford simply to have some peace of mind at shooting guard.
