NBA: Five Teams That Will Win More Games Than Las Vegas Projects

Vegas Win Projection: 27.5

My Win Projection: 33

In 2017-18 the Chicago Bulls won 27 games. They add a 23-year-old forward in Jabari Parker that averaged 20-a-game in 2016 before the injury. They get Zach Lavine back from injury. They added two first round picks in Wendell Carter Jr. and Chandler Hutchison and also still have Lauri Markannen, who last year became the quickest rookie to hit 100 threes in a season. And yeah, he’s a seven-footer.

Tell me how projecting them to win the same amount this season makes any sense there?

Yes, I did say the word injury twice in that paragraph above but when you add the talent the Bulls have, retain the other guys you already own and stay injury free, this Bulls team really isn’t that bad.

Along with the continued development of Markannen, Bobby Portis (coming off a career year) and point guard Kris Dunn the Bulls should trend upward this season. While the biggest question is whether the Bulls want to win games or continue a tank is unanswered right now. I look for the Bulls to win 5-7 more games than 27.5. Place your bets now!
