NBA: Five Teams That Will Win More Games Than Las Vegas Projects

3. Cleveland Cavaliers

Vegas Win Projection: 30.5

My Win Projection: 38

Look I know that the Cavs lost the second-best player of all time in the offseason. I know they overpaid a soon-to-be 30-year-old Kevin Love and they didn’t really add anyone else of substance this offseason. But 30.5 wins?!

That’s the bottom barrel of the super weak Eastern Conference. The Cavs still have Kevin Love, who the Cavs hope will revert back to his Minnesota Timberwolves days, Larry Nance Jr, Jordan Clarkson, added Colin Sexton who will be the starting PG from day one and have some young talent to be excited about.

I know some people might laugh at this, but the development of Cedi Osman is promising, Colin Sexton will be a stud and a Rookie of the Year candidate with the minutes he will get in Cleveland and Kevin Love will go back to being a 20 & 10 guy If he stays healthy. The Cavs may not be a playoff team this season but having them under 35 wins is ridiculous in my eyes. Not with the present talent they have.
