Gordon Hayward Is Back

This might be an obvious one, but it’s still something to take note of nonetheless after the kind of injury that Gordon Hayward suffered last year in the first game of the season.

After missing the entire 2017-18 season after playing just five minutes, Hayward is back and ready to prove himself. You might even say that he has a chip on his shoulder. Hayward could not have been more excited to sign with the Celtics last offseason to reunite with Brad Stevens and he had that excitement stripped away from him.

Recent videos came out showing Hayward working out and playing basketball. He certainly looks like he’s in game shape and ready to play at an NBA level once again.

Hayward was a borderline NBA superstar heading into last season. Now, he will have to deal with competition for minutes from talented young wings Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. More than likely, Hayward will end up in the starting lineup and getting back to being one of the most talented scorers in the league.

At 28 years old, Hayward is ready to get back on the court for his new team. He will enter 2018-19 viewing it as a new chapter and will do everything in his power to make the most of it.
