One NBA writer is proposing that the Golden State Warriors acquire Dejounte Murray and De’Andre Hunter from the Atlanta Hawks.

Dan Favale of Bleacher Report proposed the following trade idea between the Warriors and Hawks:

Atlanta Hawks Receive: Moses Moody, Chris Paul, Cory Joseph, 2026 first-round pick (top-four protection), 2026 second-round pick (its own), 2028 second-round pick (its own)

Golden State Warriors Receive: De’Andre Hunter, Dejounte Murray

The Hawks are open to trading Murray and Hunter and Favale believes both players can help the Warriors, who are only in 12th place in the Western Conference with a record of 19-24.

Murray is averaging 21.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.3 blocks this season while shooting 46.9% from the field, 38.8% from beyond the arc and 83.0% from the free-throw line. He’s making $17.7 million.

Hunter, meanwhile, is averaging 14.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.4 blocks while shooting 46.0% from the floor, 40.4% from 3 and 90.7% from the foul line. He’s making $20.1 million.
