According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, players around the NBA want to play for the Indiana Pacers because of Tyrese Haliburton.

Pascal Siakam wanted the Toronto Raptors to trade him to the Pacers because of Haliburton.

According to NBA insider Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, rival executives believe the Pacers could make another trade to bolster their team before the trade deadline.

Haliburton is averaging 23.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 12.5 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.7 blocks this season while shooting 49.7% from the field, 40.3% from beyond the arc and 86.8% from the free-throw line. The 23-year-old is first in the NBA in assists per game and second in total assists.

The Pacers are first in the NBA in points per game. They are averaging 125.6 points. That number will likely increase once Siakam joins the lineup. Siakam is averaging 22.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks this season while shooting 52.2% from the floor, 31.7% from beyond the arc and 75.8% from the free-throw line.

Haliburton plays a fun style of basketball. He’s always pushing the pace and loves passing the ball to his teammates. The one-time All-Star is one of the best point guards in the NBA and the Pacers believe they are legitimate title contenders now with Siakam in the fold.
