According to NBA insider Matt Moore of Action Network, Toronto Raptors star Pascal Siakam has told teams interested in trading for him that he will not re-sign with them in the summer.

Siakam becomes an unrestricted free agent after this season.

The Atlanta Hawks, Indiana Pacers, Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings are interested in acquiring Siakam, who won the 2019 championship with Toronto over Golden State in six games.

NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: Pascal Siakam, Toronto Raptors Updates

A two-time All-Star, Siakam is averaging 22.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks this season while shooting 52.2% from the field, 31.7% from beyond the arc and 75.8% from the free-throw line. He is making $37.9 million.

The Raptors can offer Siakam a contract that is $60 million more guaranteed than any other team at $248 million once free agency starts. Toronto already made one big trade this season, sending OG Anunoby, Malachi Flynn and Precious Achiuwa to the New York Knicks for RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley.

At 15-25, the Raptors are in 12th place in the Eastern Conference standings. The franchise is building around Scottie Barnes and most NBA execs believe Siakam needs to be traded for Barnes to fully develop.

However, teams are going to be hesitant to trade for Siakam since the two-time All-NBA forward is sending signals that he could be a rental player. This situation will be intriguing to track.
