Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James expressed his frustration with NBA officials after a tightly contested game between the Celtics and Pacers last night.

During the final moments of the game, Boston’s Jaylen Brown attempted a crucial shot while seemingly receiving contact to the back of his head from Pacers guard Buddy Hield. Initially, the foul was called in favor of the Celtics, but upon review, the referees decided to reverse the decision.

This unfortunate turn of events led to the Celtics losing possession and eventually the game.

Taking to Twitter this morning, LeBron James vented his frustration:

“See what I’m saying! JB clearly got hit in the back of the head. They reviewed the play, just to reverse it and say he didn’t. MAN WHAT!! Good ass game to have an ending like that. And yall see why I be going (emoji emoji) out there when it happens.”

Granted, the play did look like a foul. However, the Celtics had quite a few more reasons than that call for losing the game. Add in the fact that Tyrese Haliburton went out for the game in the first half due to injury and didn’t return adds even more reason for Boston to have won.

There is no question that officials have been making brutal calls in all sports of late. But, there are many reasons for the outcome of a game and the referees do not win or lose an entire game for a team very often.
