One NBA writer is proposing that the Golden State Warriors acquire Jarrett Allen from the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Andy Bailey of Bleacher Report proposed the following trade idea between the Warriors and Cavaliers:
The Deal: Draymond Green and a top-five protected 2027 first-round pick for Jarrett Allen and Sam Merrill
Some people around the NBA believe the Warriors could trade Green since the power forward keeps getting in trouble with the league office and Bailey thinks Allen could help the Dubs.
“Allen wouldn’t bump Looney from the rotation entirely, but he’s a better shot-blocker and above-the-rim finisher,” Bailey wrote in his NBA trade proposal. “He’s an ideal fit alongside a point guard like Chris Paul, who’s long been known for his pick-and-roll work with rim-running bigs.”
