There are no Zach LaVine trade sweepstakes unfolding for the Chicago Bulls, according to NBA insider Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.

LaVine and the Bulls are looking to part ways, but Chicago hasn’t found a trade market for LaVine, who is making $40 million this season.

A two-time All-Star, LaVine is averaging 21.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists this season while shooting 44.3% from the field, 33.6% from 3 and 86.6% from the foul line. He hasn’t played since November 28 due to a foot injury.

NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: Zach LaVine, Chicago Bulls Updates

LaVine’s trade value has decreased since the Bulls have played better without him. LaVine, who is represented by Rich Paul of Klutch Sports Group, wants to get traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, multiple sources told NBA Analysis Network.

However, Paul denied that he’s trying to get LaVine to the Lakers.

“It’s not one team,” Paul told NBA reporter Sam Amick of The Athletic regarding the LaVine situation. “I don’t have a specific destination for Zach. I want what’s best for Zach and his family. When you have a guy playing the game, you want him to be able to play the game happy, whether that’s in Chicago or somewhere else.”

Paul represents Lakers superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The Lakers continue to prefer DeMar DeRozan and/or Alex Caruso from the Bulls over LaVine, according to NBA insider Jovan Buha of The Athletic.

LaVine signed a five-year, $215 million contract with the Bulls in July 2022. The UCLA product has career averages of 20.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.9 assists with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Bulls.
