A new NBA trade proposal would send OG Anunoby from the Toronto Raptors to the Sacramento Kings.
Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report proposed the following trade idea between the Raptors and Kings:
The Toronto Raptors trade OG Anunoby to the Sacramento Kings for Harrison Barnes, a 2026 first-round pick (top-five protected), a 2028 first-round pick and a 2030 first-round pick swap
The Kings are interested in trading for Anunoby, sources told NBA Analysis Network. Anunoby can become an unrestricted free agent next offseason if he declines his 2024-25 player option. The Kings tried to trade for Anunoby last season and this past offseason.

“Anunoby could help Sacramento make the leap from good to great. He is the shutdown wing defender this roster is without, and this offense could be even harder to handle if he was sharing third-scorer duties with Keegan Murray,” Buckley wrote. “If Toronto let go of Anunoby, then it would be headed toward a top-to-bottom reset around Scottie Barnes.”
Anunoby is averaging 14.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals this season while shooting 47.3% from the field, 38.0% from beyond the arc and 65.2% from the free-throw line. The swingman is one of the top two-way players in the NBA.
The Kings could start De’Aaron Fox, Keegan Murray, Kevin Huerter, Anunoby and Domantas Sabonis if Sacramento’s front office figured out a way to acquire Anunoby from Toronto.

Anunoby has career averages of 11.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 steals. He won the 2019 championship with the Raptors and has made one All-NBA Defensive team and won one steals title.
