The Chicago Bulls are 4-7 on the season and both DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine haven’t shot the ball well. DeRozan is shooting 43.4% from the field, while LaVine is shooting just 40.9% overall.
After the Bulls lost to the Milwaukee Bucks on November 13, DeRozan said he remains confident he and LaVine will shoot the ball better moving forward.
“I’m not concerned about it,” DeRozan said. “Of course, you want to be shooting well and right now, we’re not. But we’re getting a lot of great looks. We’re getting more confident moving the ball, finding guys, getting open shots, getting aggressive going to the basket. We can’t stop that and get frustrated. I’m confident because we’re generating the shots we want. … I know it’s going to turn for me and Zach, for everybody.”

Added LaVine: “It’s not like we’re getting good ones. We got to stick with it, trust our work. It’s frustrating because you expect yourself to do better. I didn’t make any damn layups. They’ll start dropping. I trust what I do.”
LaVine is averaging 21.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists on the season while shooting 40.9% from the field, 30.9% from beyond the arc and 87.9% from the free-throw line.
Meanwhile, DeRozan is averaging 21.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists while shooting 43.4% overall, 32.0% from 3 and 84.7% from the foul line.
