Denver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray will likely be sidelined for the remainder of the month because of a right hamstring strain, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The Nuggets are taking a cautious approach to ensure there will be no lingering issues with Murray’s hamstring. There’s an expectation that Murray will need three to four weeks to properly heal before returning to play.

“This will be something that will be longer than we would like,” Nuggets head coach Michael Malone said this week. “You have to have the big picture in mind and make sure we’re putting him in position to get healthy before he comes back.”
