Former NBA Star Lou Williams Calls Lakers’ LeBron James ‘The Greatest Of All Time’

Former NBA star Lou Williams, who won the Sixth Man of the Year Award three times, called Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James “the greatest of all time” a day after the Lakers defeated the Los Angeles Clippers.

The 38-year-old LeBron finished with 35 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists in the Lakers’ five-point win over the Clippers.

The Lakers improved to 3-2 on the season after beating the Clippers for the first time since 2020. LeBron is averaging 24.6 points, 9.2 rebounds and 6.6 assists through five games while shooting 56.5% from the field, 35.5% from 3 and 55.2% from the foul line.

LeBron has scored 51 points (10.2 points per game) in the fourth quarter and overtime this season, shooting 21-for-31 from the field (68%).

“If we keep the game close, I feel like in the fourth quarter, that’s when I’m at my best,” LeBron said after the Lakers-Clippers game. “If the game is close, I can make plays to help us win the ballgame, no matter who is out on the floor for us.”

LeBron has career averages of 27.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.3 assists with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Lakers. He is first in NBA history in points, fourth in assists, ninth in steals, fourth in triple-doubles, third in player efficiency rating and sixth in points per game.

LeBron entered the NBA straight out of high school in 2003. He became the NBA’s all-time leading scorer last season and has won four titles, four Finals MVPs and four regular-season MVPs.

LeBron is the only player in NBA history with at least 30,000 points, 10,000 rebounds and 10,000 assists. He’s also the only player to rank top five all-time in both assists and points.
