Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is the oldest player in the NBA. Despite being in his 21st season in the league, LeBron is still one of the best players in the NBA and he still may be the most important player on the Lakers.
The Lakers are 2-2 on the season. They lost to the Denver Nuggets on opening night, beat the Phoenix Suns in Game 2, lost to the Sacramento Kings in Game 3 and defeated the Orlando Magic in Game 4.
LeBron is averaging 22.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists while shooting 53.0% from the field, 30.4% from beyond the arc and 57.9% from the free-throw line.

“We’re going to continue to get better,” LeBron said after the Lakers beat the Magic. “I think we’re still a little trying to figure it out, which is OK. We’re four games in. We’re going to get a lot better throughout the season, but so far we like some of the things we see.”
LeBron has career averages of 27.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.3 assists with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Lakers. He is first in NBA history in points, fourth in assists, ninth in steals, fourth in triple-doubles, third in player efficiency rating and sixth in points per game.
Milwaukee Bucks All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo believes LeBron is the greatest player in NBA history over Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan. LeBron is the only player ever with at least 30,000 points, 10,000 rebounds and 10,000 assists in a career.
“Some guys might say he is No. 2, but other guys like me, I say he is No. 1, and he’s still going,” Antetokounmpo told Joe Vardon of The Athletic.
