Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic thinks Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan is the greatest player in NBA history.
Doncic signed a contract extension with Jordan Brand this offseason. The Mavericks All-Star became Jordan Brand’s first European-born-and-raised signature athlete in 2019.

Jordan is universally recognized as the greatest player in NBA history. He won six championships, six Finals MVPs, five regular-season MVPs and 10 scoring titles with the Bulls in the ’90s. Jordan’s Bulls went 6-0 in the Finals and three-peated twice.
Jordan averaged 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists during his career with the Bulls and Washington Wizards. MJ made 14 All-Star teams, 11 All-NBA teams and nine All-Defensive teams. Jordan is one of three players in NBA history to win MVP and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season.
A Hall of Famer, Jordan is fifth in NBA history in points, first in points per game, third in steals and first in player efficiency rating. He holds the record for the most points scored in a playoff game (63).
Jordan has a net worth of $3 billion now. He is the first professional athlete to rank among America’s 400 wealthiest people.
For the Mavericks last season, Doncic averaged 32.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 8.0 assists while shooting 49.6% from the field, 34.2% from beyond the arc and 74.2% from the free-throw line. The 24-year-old recorded 36 double-doubles and 10 triple-doubles in 66 games.

If Doncic makes an All-NBA team this season, he would become eligible to sign a five-year, projected $318 million supermax extension in 2025. Doncic signed a five-year, $215.2 million designated rookie contract extension with the Mavericks in August 2021.
