Leonard and George have only played in 118 regular-season games together. Both stars have been prone to injuries since becoming teammates.

Leonard averaged 34.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 6.0 assists in Games 1 and 2 of the first round of the 2023 playoffs against the Phoenix Suns before missing the rest of the series with his knee injury. The two-time Defensive Player of the Year signed a four-year, $176.3 million contract with the Clippers in August 2021.

Leonard missed the entire 2021-22 season recovering from an ACL injury. He will make $45.6 million next season. His player option for the 2024-25 season is worth $48.8 million.
