One NBA writer is proposing that the Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings make a bold trade centered around Malik Monk, Caleb Martin and Jaime Jaquez Jr. Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report proposed the following trade idea between the Heat and Kings:

Trade idea: Sacramento Kings trade Malik Monk and 2027 first-round pick (top-seven protected) to Miami Heat for Caleb Martin and Jaime Jaquez Jr.

“They have enough scoring to withstand the loss of Monk, and they might be willing to make that sacrifice to bring Martin and Jaquez into the mix,” Buckley wrote in his latest NBA trade column. “Martin is a feisty defender who can handle multiple matchups, and while Jaquez’s physical tools are limited, his awareness, instincts and hustle make him a positive presence on that end.”
