One NBA writer has named Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby and Jerami Grant as the Atlanta Hawks’ top three trade targets. Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report believes the Hawks should try to trade for Siakam, Anunoby or Grant.

“The Hawks have been the ‘strongest suitor’ for Siakam, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania, though they couldn’t get the Toronto Raptors to bite on a package built around Griffin, De’Andre Hunter and ‘draft compensation.’ Still, with free agency awaiting Siakam after this season, and Toronto potentially sitting on the cusp of a reset, one can reasonably assume these trade talks are fluid,” Buckley wrote in his latest NBA trade column. “Atlanta could also shift its focus over to Siakam’s teammate, Anunoby, who isn’t the same caliber of offensive player but is a world-class stopper.

“Grant, who won’t fit the Portland Trail Blazers’ post-Damian Lillard timeline, could be another alternative, so long as Atlanta doesn’t mind stomaching the five-year, $160 million pact he signed this summer.”

Siakam averaged 24.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists for the Toronto Raptors last season while shooting 48.0% from the field, 32.4% from beyond the arc and 77.4% from the free-throw line. The Hawks have been trying to acquire Siakam all offseason, sources told NBA Analysis Network, but Atlanta and Toronto haven’t made much progress on a trade.

Meanwhile, Anunoby averaged 16.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists last season for the Raptors while shooting 47.6% from the floor, 38.7% from 3 and 83.8% from the foul line. He is eligible to sign a four-year, $116 million extension with Toronto.
