One NBA writer is proposing that the Chicago Bulls acquire Kyle Lowry from the Miami Heat in a blockbuster trade. Lee Tran of Fadeaway World proposed the following trade between the Los Angeles Lakers, Heat, Philadelphia 76ers, Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks:
Los Angeles Lakers Receive: DeMar DeRozan
Miami Heat Receive: James Harden
Philadelphia 76ers Receive: D’Angelo Russell, Duncan Robinson, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Grayson Allen
Chicago Bulls Receive: Kyle Lowry, Jalen Hood-Schifino, MarJon Beauchamp, Max Christie
Milwaukee Bucks Receive: PJ Tucker, 2028 Second-Round Pick (CHI)
Lowry is due $29.7 million next season in the final year of the three-year, $85 million deal he signed with the Heat in 2021. The Heat would like to trade Lowry in a package for Portland Trail Blazers superstar point guard Damian Lillard, but Portland and Miami haven’t made any progress on a Lillard trade.
