One NBA writer is proposing that the Philadelphia 76ers acquire Cole Anthony, Markelle Fultz and Gary Harris from the Orlando Magic in a blockbuster trade. Lee Tran of Fadeaway World proposed the following trade between the Magic and Sixers:

Philadelphia 76ers Receive: Cole Anthony, Markelle Fultz, Gary Harris
“In this scenario, the Philadelphia 76ers would get three players that could contribute immediately,” Tran wrote in his latest NBA trade column. “The key player of course would be Markelle Fultz, who would likely start at the PG position. He has improved greatly since being traded by the 76ers to the Orlando Magic: last season, Fultz averaged 14.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 5.7 assists for the team while shooting 51.4% from the field and playing solid perimeter defense.

“Cole Anthony profiles as a solid scorer coming off the bench, with the guard being frequently deployed as a sixth man by the Magic, averaging 13.0 points off the bench. Meanwhile, Gary Harris is a solid 3 and D guard who shot 43.1% from 3PT range last season.”
Harden has requested a trade from the Sixers and wants to get traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. However, Philadelphia can send the 2017-18 NBA MVP anywhere since he doesn’t have a no-trade clause in his contract.

According to NBA insider Marc Stein, the Sixers remain resistant to trading Harden unless the deal maintains or enhances their ability to win a championship.
This trade proposal Tran came up with would give Philadelphia three rotation pieces alongside stars Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey. It will be fascinating to see if the Magic call the Sixers about a Harden trade.
