Phoenix Suns small forward Kevin Durant is one of the best players in NBA history. But don’t take our word for it. Instead, let the numbers tell the story.
Durant has career averages of 27.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets and Suns. He’s a 13-time All-Star, four-time scoring champion, one-time regular-season MVP, two-time champion and two-time Finals MVP. Durant will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer one day.
The 34-year-old Durant played for the Nets and Suns last season. He averaged 29.1 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists in 47 games while shooting 56.0% from the field, 40.4% from beyond the arc and 91.9% from the free-throw line. The Suns beat the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the 2023 playoffs in five games but lost to the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Semifinals in six games.

Phoenix has had a busy summer. Along with firing Monty Williams as head coach and hiring Frank Vogel, the Suns also traded Chris Paul to the Washington Wizards for Bradley Beal, signed Eric Gordon, Yuta Watanabe, Chimezie Metu, Keita Bates-Diop and Drew Eubanks and re-signed Damion Lee and Josh Okogie in free agency.
Bol Bol could be joining the Suns as well, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium. Rival teams are expecting Bol to sign with Phoenix soon.

Bol is an unrestricted free agent after getting waived by the Orlando Magic and going unclaimed on waivers. He appeared in 70 games for the Magic last season, averaging 9.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists. Bol has career averages of 6.3 points and 3.8 rebounds with the Denver Nuggets and Magic in 123 NBA games.
The Suns now have a lethal Big 3 of Beal, Durant and Devin Booker. Deandre Ayton is still on the team as well after not getting traded despite being in trade rumors.
